Really? I clicked it and it gives me a email from 1 paleontologist to a person asking about it.

Given that most of those are relatively small patches, and that feathers typically don't preserve very well, it's certainly still possible it had a light coat of feathers.

Light coat would look unusual to me to be honest.

Why?

I'm no Paleontologist, but it looks like some of the skin imprints have some holes or distortions in them. It could be caused by un-preserved feathers or quills. But again, I'm not trained in this stuff, so I can't really say anything with much more than a severe maybe. Though on a side note, could you try and find a higher resolution version of the picture? I'd like to be able to read the text for each skin imprint.
